By downloading or using the Barista Journal application (the "App"), these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the App.
If you are accessing the App via Apple TestFlight, you acknowledge that the App is in a beta testing phase. The App may contain bugs, errors, or inaccuracies that could cause failures or loss of data. You agree that your use of the App is at your own risk.
The App allows you to store data locally and sync it with our self-hosted server (PocketBase). You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including photos and public recipes. We host the database ourselves to protect your privacy, but we are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to data.
You agree not to use the App in any way that:
The App itself, including all trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to the developer of Barista Journal. You are not allowed to copy, or modify the App, any part of the App, or our trademarks in any way.
The developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.
We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
